The euphoria of elections and the feverish pitch of electioneering has reached its crescendo in Kerala. The count down has already started for the hotly contested by elections scheduled for the constituencies of Ernakulam, Alapuzha and Kannur on the 7th of November.
With only a few days to go for the D day, the two main contenders, UDF and the ruling LDF are not leaving anything to chance. From street shows, live musical events , pyrotechnics, colorful processions and bands there has been a slew of high decibel shows and concerts apart from the conventional meetings, in the last few days. Both the camps are trying out all possible methods to woo the discerning voters and have pasted colorful graffiti and posters at every nook and corner of the city to grab their attention.
While social watch bodies predict a tough neck and neck race, some opine that it is going to be a walkover for the UDF as the ruling front has nothing much to flaunt about their achievements. As rumor mills whirl around, the anxious voters are trying to pick up the best of the lot in the fray who would bring a qualitative change in their life styles.
